As a Margaret River wedding videographer, shooting in the beautiful south west never gets old. It’s even more special when the couple and their guests are here for a destination wedding, coming from across the country! Ash and Nic’s day was truly something special. Set right on the beach at White Elephant Cafe, this wedding was the perfect mix of fun, relaxed vibes and many emotional moments, surrounded by the sound of the ocean and all their favourite people.

A Destination Wedding Full of Joy

Ash and Nic brought all their friends and family down from Melbourne for a destination wedding in Margaret River, turning the celebration into a full weekend of fun. The ceremony overlooked the water, with the waves crashing behind them as they said their vows, pure magic. The atmosphere was warm, genuine, and filled with laughter (and maybe a few happy tears).

Golden Hour by the Beach

After the ceremony, we hit the beach and surrounding hills for portraits just before sunset. Margaret River showed off with that glowing coastal light, and Ash and Nic were total naturals , dancing barefoot in the sand, champagne in hand, and surrounded by love. These are the kinds of moments that make me love being a wedding videographer. These two are the funniest and we had the best time.

As the sun set, the celebrations moved inside the White Elephant Café , effortlessly relaxed. Guests danced under the festoon lights, drinks flowed, and the vibe was pure joy. It was one of those nights where you can feel the love in every laugh, every toast, and every moment caught on film.
